The PIP, or Personality Identity Profiler, tool gives you a validated indication of how the candidate prefers to work and offers in depth interview questions. It is a powerful interviewing tool particularly when used with competency based interviewing (see client advice pages for more information).
The psychometric is in the form of a ‘Personality Questionnaire’ and takes around 7 minutes for each candidate to complete. Candidates complete the test online and we recommend that they undertake the questionnaire at home in a comfortable and quiet area.
Candidates often comment that they enjoyed undertaking the questionnaire and we share the results and the report with each candidate after your interview.
The questionnaire is 80 adjectives which the candidate has to answer from ‘not at all like me’ to ‘very much like me’ from a scale of five answers. The questionnaire has to be answered in how they choose to behave in a workplace environment.
